Today we did our annual pilgrimage to Santa Pod for the Mini In The Park meet. We went on the GP Uk Owners Club but alas without our GP which is currently having some small rust repairs done under warranty.

The GPs on the stand were all first generation and looked stunning. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to remind myself that it is real and we have one of these stunners of our own.

After drooling on the GP stand we had a wander around. I’d love a new Clubman but in reality you can’t have every car you want, so we will have to continue to admire these from afar.

After a bite to each we looked st the stalls. I nearly bought this Scalextric but resisted and we found this horse box converted to a mobile barber shop to be a neat idea!

We promised to say hello to a mate of ours with a lovely car and while we saw his motor we never found the driver!

SilverBeast enjoyed his day out at Santapod and we look forward to our next Mini meet which is next weekend with the Welsh Mini Group in the Brecon Beacons.
